Offa Polytechnic Lecturer Collapses, dies during meeting

A lecturer in the Department of Mass Communications at Federal Polytechnic in Offa, Kwara State, reportedly collapsed and died.

The speaker identified as Ayatu Momoh is believed to have died while attending a monthly meeting with members of his local community in the city.

The deceased was the secretary of the local Igala community of Kogi State in Offa.
There was no official confirmation of the lecturer’s death yet, but a department lecturer confirmed the incident.
However , the speaker, who did not want his name mentioned lamented: “We learned that he collapsed and died while attending his Igala community meeting in Offa on Sunday. He is the secretary of the local community of Offa.

He described the late speaker as a hardworking and hardworking personality.

He said the body of the late Ayatu was taken to the morgue at Offa General Hospital where the post-mortem examination would be carried out.
