5 Things To Do After Having An Unprotected S€x With A Stranger

It is very wrong but normal to make mistakes, especially when it has to do with love, relationship and sex. Being hurt emotionally can force one to make mistakes without considering the effect or damage it would lead to.

If you happen to have an affair with a stranger that is someone you've just met or trying to get along with, without a condom or the condom broke in the process, instead of killing yourself when the deed is done already, below are 5 important things you should do immediately to avoid further damage and pains.

1) Use the bathroom immediately.

First head to the bathroom to remove any lingering fluids from the vagina, penis or anus. This will help remove bacteria that could result in Urinary tract infections (UTIs). You can sit on the toilet and push down with your genital or anal muscles to push out any remaining fluid. Peeing helps alot( drink enough water). This helps prevent some bacteria from getting into the body and not pregnancy because the sperm has already traveled towards the egg.

2) Within 72 hours, take the emergency contraceptive pills.

This helps to reduce the risk of getting pregnant (98%).

3) Within 5 days, get an IUD(intra uterine device).

This is the most effective way to prevent pregnancy but it is especially recommend for women who took the ECP late.

4) Get an STI check and a pregnancy test too.

This should be done after Two to three weeks after the affair.

5) After going through all these stress, make a promise to yourself never to have an unprotected sex with a stranger.
