[Entertainment News] US-based Music Duo Of Two Brothers ROZE, Rocks Nigerian Music Scene With Video Of Debut Single

The music duo of two brothers, Row, and Zuwa, known as ROZE, has made good the promise they made in January at a press conference in Lagos, at Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, to find their space in the music scene as they have released their debut single ‘The Whole Night’ accompanied by the video shot in Lagos by master producer, Clarence Peters. The banging song “The whole night” which is lyrically rich with high-tempo sound was officially released on all music platforms with its video on Monday, April 23, 2018 and it has since been enjoying rave reviews and views both for its audio-visual quality, creativity and dope delivery. Eghosa Rodney Agbonayinma and Osazuwa Michael Agbonayinma are the two members of the music duo, ROZE, with their names being Row and Zuwa respectively.

They are children of politician and music lover, Hon. EJ, Mr and Mrs Ehiozuwa Johnson Agbonayinma and Itohan Agbonayinma. Born in Houston, Texas, January 11, 1998 and July 30, 1999 to Nigerian-American parents, later relocated to the home country of their parents, Nigeria, where they did their primary and secondary school education. Once done with their secondary school education, they then moved back to their birth place Houston, Texas, where they are now studying Petroleum Engineering and Architecture at the University of Houston and Houston Community College in Texas, United States of America. In their high school, Immaculate Conception College (ICC), both brothers were known for their musical talent in their class. Zuwa was known in his set to be one of the best rappers they had, while Row was known to be one of the best vocalist they had. Ever since their childhood, both brothers have had a passion for music and affinity with several genres such as Hip Hop, R&B, Reggae, Country and many others. They always seem to mention how they do not restrict themselves from various genres of music. They would, however, fiddle around making beats and writing songs, until it was noticed by their father who was surprised to know how talented they were. Their father would go as far as taking them to recording studios to record the songs they had written. Their father, by their side day and night, would remain in the studio, supportive, as they worked with music producers. Their mother, elated by their talent, love, and passion for music, would play their songs joyfully. Back in January at a press conference in Lagos, the duo was asked how they plan to break into the Nigerian music market given their American influence and their reply was simple: “We do pretty good music never seen before, and we have great musical stuff we’re bringing on board. When you have great stuff you aren’t scared to launch out in an industry that is complicated or crazy,” they purred with the confidence of one who knows where the sails are leading him. Signed to U & I Music, an entertainment platform owned by their father, the brothers have indeed hoisted a flag on the dome of the music industry with this banging entrant of a single and a video, so stimulating as it is entertaining.
