1. Land All Over Nigeria Belongs To Fulani, Says Miyetti Allah

Chairman of Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore, an umbrella body of Fulani tribe in Nigeria, Alhaji Abdullahi Bodejo, has declared that land all over the country belongs to the Fulani. Bodejo says people who are claiming land are the ones causing crisis in Nigeria. He was responding to those opposing the Federal Government’s plan to establish ranches in 10 states of the federation, as part of efforts aimed at ending herders-farmers clashes in Nigeria.

2. How PDP Can Defeat Buhari In 2019 – Kwankwaso

Former governor of Kano state and a bigwig of the ruling APC, Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso, has said that as a candidate of the opposition PDP, he would defeat President Muhammadu Buhari in the 2019 elections. Kwankwaso, an aggrieved member of the ruling party, made this known while picking the former ruling party as the only one that can defeat Buhari in next year’s polls.

6. Suspected Herdsmen Kill One, Steal Archbishop’s Cows In Fresh Plateau Attack

Gunmen suspected to be Fulani herdsmen have killed one person and stolen nine cows in Jos, Plateau state, police in the north-central state say. Spokesman for the force in Plateau, DSP Terna Tyopev, said the cows belonged to the Anglican Archbishop of Jos, Benjamin Kwashe. According to him, the incident occurred in the early hours of Saturday at Kangan community of Jos South area of the state.

7. Another Road Accident Claims 10 Lives In Kaduna

At least 10 people have lost their lives in an accident that occurred on Kaduna-Kano expressway on Saturday, two days after a deadly explosion in Lagos state. Concise News learned that the accident occurred around Nuhu Bamalli Polytechnic, Zaria, at about 5:30 a.m. Head of Public Enlightenment, Zaria Unit Command of the Federal Road Safety Commission, Idris Yahaya, confirmed the occurrence.

8. Gas Explosion Razes 15 Shops In Kaduna

A gas explosion on Saturday burnt down 14 shops and a pharmacy with one person injured in Kaduna state. According to reports, the incident occurred at about 5:40 pm on Ibrahim Taiwo Road by Abeokuta street in Kaduna. It was learned that residents mobilised to put out the fire before it spread further in the densely populated area.

9. Shehu Sani Disagrees With Buhari On Sharing Of $322m Abacha Loot

Senator Shehu Sani has disagreed with President Muhammadu Buhari over the sharing of the $350million loot recovered from former military dictator, late Gen. Sani Abacha. Sani on his Tweeter page on Saturday said the sharing of the loot to 180 million Nigerians was impossible, adding that the money will end up with beneficiaries nominated by governors, ministers, lawmakers and the president’s men. He further suggested that the money be tied to a project Nigerians can see with their eyes.

10. PDP Urges Saraki, Dogara To Dump APC Ahead Election

The Peoples Democratic Party has urged the Senate President, Bukola Saraki, and Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, to dump the All Progressives Congress ahead of the 2019 elections. Bauchi state PDP spokesman, Yayanuwa Zainabari, who made this call in an interview with reporters in Bauchi on Saturday, claimed that the APC is a curse to the nation.
