1. Buhari Leaves For UK On A Four-day Medical Trip 

President Muhammadu Buhari will on Tuesday embark on a four-day medical trip to the United Kingdom, the Presidency has disclosed. According to a statement on Monday by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, the President’s trip is at the instance of his doctor.


2. Evans Cries Out In Court, Says They Don’t Feed Him Well In Prison

Kidnap suspect Evans on Monday refused to come down from a Black Maria vehicle which conveyed him and other suspects to the Lagos State High Court for trial. It was gathered that Evans was wearing a torn green Tee shirt. His refusal to come down prompted the judge, Justice Adedayo Akintoye, to order the prison warders to bring him into the courtroom.

Human rights lawyer Mike Ozekhome (SAN) has disclosed that Senator Dino Melaye (APC-Kogi West) jumped off a police van in Abuja to avoid death. Melaye’s counsel, Ozekhome, stated this at the Kogi High court in Lokoja, while dismissing police claim that his client was trying to escape.
