[Politics] Senator Bukola Saraki, Another Northern Governor Set To Leave APC
Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed of Kwara State has said he may be forced to leave the All Progressives Congress alongside Senate President Bukola Saraki.
The duo is being investigated over links with Offa robbery in April in the state.
Ahmed revealed this on Thursday at State Banquet Hall, Ilorin while reacting to a request from stakeholders in Kwara Central Senatorial District prevailing on him and Saraki to leave the party.
“We formed APC together in 2014 with the hope to meet the needs and aspirations of the people in critical areas of our national life,” the governor said.
He added that the APC had failed to make policies geared towards improving the lives of the people,
