Speaking with reporters in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital, on Monday, Lawal described his sack as a blessing in disguise, noting that his monthly income as SGF was N953,000 but he made about half a billion last year.

8. Three Lecturers Kidnapped In Kaduna

Gunmen have abducted three lecturers of the Shehu Idris College of Health in Makarfi area of Kaduna state, northwest Nigeria, police in the state say. Concise News understands that the lecturers were abducted on Sunday night when they were travelling to Makarfi from Zaria in Kaduna north. Spokesperson for the police in Kaduna, DSP Yakubu Sabo, said those kidnapped were two women and one man.
