[News] APC Fixes Another Date For Presidential Primary Election
The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has shifted the date of its presidential primary election from September 25 to September 27.
The ruling party, last week, shifted the election from September 20 to September 25.
Yekini Nabena, the APC National Publicity Secretary, announced this in a statement on Sunday in Abuja.
He added that duly registered party members were to collect their permanent membership cards from their various wards.
“The presidential direct primary election earlier scheduled for Tuesday, September 25th, 2018 will now hold on Thursday, September 27th, 2018.
“Duly registered party members are to collect their permanent membership cards from their respective wards,” the statement read.
No reasons were given for the change in date.
The APC presidential primary is to pass an affirmative vote on President Muhammadu Buhari who is the party’s sole Presidential candidate for the 2019 Presidential election.
