President Muhammadu Buhari was awake the moment the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Chairman, Professor Mahmood Yakubu, was declaring him winner of the 2019 presidential election at about 4:38 am on Wednesday.
Buhari defeated his main challenger, Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), 15,191,847 to 11,262,978 votes to emerge successful in his re-election bid.
