1. General Hospital Releases Names Of Survivors Of Lagos Building Collapse
A list containing the names of some of the survivors of the building collapse at Ita-Faji has been released by the Lagos Island General Hospital. The list included some teachers and yet-to-be-identified persons who were rescued from the collapsed building and taken to the hospital.

2. What Okorocha Said After Exclusion From Inec List Of Elected Senators
Imo state governor Rochas Okorocha has faulted INEC’s  decision to withhold his senatorial Certificate of Return, saying it is “only the tribunal that has the right to say otherwise once a result is declared.” The Returning Officer for the February 23 Imo West senatorial election, Prof Innocent Ibeawuchi, had alleged that he was forced to declare Okorocha the winner of the poll by the supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Senator Hope Uzodinma.

3. Nigeria Takes Decision On Boeing 737 Max 8, Max 9 After Crash
The Nigerian government has banned Boeing 737 Max planes from flying into Nigeria’s airspace following a fatal crash in Ethiopia over the weekend. According to reports, there has been vandalisation of the governor’s billboard and banners all across the state after the governor’s son-in-law, Uche Nwosu, lost the governorship election to PDP’s  Emeka Ihedioha.

Gunmen attacked a police station in Afuze, Edo state, on Tuesday night, killing the head of the station (DPO) and other policemen. The gunmen, according to an eyewitness, freed prisoners and went away with rifles and other ammunition.

7. Kerosene Tanker Crushes Seven People In Onitsha
Nothing less than seven persons have been confirmed dead on Wednesday after kerosene-laden tanker rammed into traders on the Upper Iweka Road in Onitsha, Anambra State. Confirming the incident in a statement, the spokesperson for the state police command, Haruna Mohammed, explained that the truck driver lost control of the vehicle and knocked down 19 people.

8. Senate Panel On Minimum Wage Resumes Sitting
The committee set up by the Senate to look into the minimum wage bill held its first sitting on Wednesday and promised to submit their report by next week Tuesday. The Senate President, Bukola Saraki, had appointed the Deputy Majority Whip, Senator Francis Alimikhena, as acting head of the panel, following the voluntary withdrawal of the chairman, Senator Olusola Adeyeye, on health grounds.

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (Jamb) has rescheduled the conduct of 2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) to 11th April. The board also fixed 1st April for the conduct of its mock examination earlier scheduled for Saturday, 23rd March.

10. Livescore: Mane Hits Brace To Fire Liverpool Into Champions League Quarter-finals
Liverpool progressed into the Champions League quarter-finals following a 3-1 victory over Bayern Munich in the second leg of their last-16 tie, with Sadio Mane scoring twice. After a goalless draw in the first leg at Anfield, Mane put Liverpool ahead with a brilliantly-taken goal in the 26th minute at the Allianz Arena.
